A 14-year-old girl from Essex has become the first winner of The Voice Kids UK.

Jess's rendition of Beyonce's 'Love On Top' was voted the winning performance by viewers.

She beat off competition from 5 others in the final live shows including 12 year old Courtney Hadwin from Hartlepool.

The Academy of Shotton Hall pupil sang 'Nutbush City Limits' by Tina Turner to get onto Team Danny.

Then a stunning performance of James Brown's 'I Feel Good' saw her through to the live shows where she made this performance of 'And I'm Telling You'.

But she was beaten by Jess, who now gets a 30-thousand pound music bursary.
