Campaigners want a minimum price for alcohol across the UK

Wine Drinking Alcohol

6:50am 20th July 2017

The Supreme Court will decide next week whether introducing a minimum unit price in Scotland is legal.

It's as campaigners are concerned 3 litre bottles of strong cider are available for the same price as a small coffee on the high street.

They're pushing for a unit of alcohol to always cost at least 50p - but found wine being sold at 31p per unit, and cider at 16p.
