Thompson Park to get 50K in funding

Members Friends of Thompson Park

10:40am 12th August 2017

One of Sunderland's best known parks will be getting a new lease of life.

It's thanks to funding from the council, which will see a programme of activities both in Thompson Park and across Southwick.

The 50 thousand pound investment will build on the success of the new community hub and cafe.

And include educational and environmental projects, with cycling, youth activities and much more.
