HMS Bulwark soldiers watch amphibious display at Seaburn beach 2016

A new ad campaign has had mixed reviews as the Army prepares to promote its latest recruitment drive.

The new £1.6million campaign is being launched to encourage people from different backgrounds, genders, sexualities and faiths to join the force.

The North East is traditional a region of high recruitment for the armed forces, and last month the Army dropped its 'be the best' slogan.

It's being replaced by a range of ads titled 'This Is Belonging 2018' - with radio, TV and online ads featuring the voices of serving soldiers.

What do you think about the latest drive take part in our poll below.
