Body found on County Durham beach

Durham Constabulary have confirmed that a body has been found in the search for a missing man.

The body was found on the beach at Easington Colliery at around 11:15am today (Monday 22nd January).

Formal identification is yet to take place, however it's believed to be the body of James 'Jimmy' Huntington.

His family have been informed.
