Car fire on a Hill View driveway

Fire on back doors of vehicle

An investigation's underway after a car caught fire on a Leechmere Road driveway.

An explosion's said to have alerted neighbours just before 10 last night in the Hill View area.

The fire destroyed a VW Golf, with emergency service quickly on the scene to extinguish the blaze.

No one is thought to have been injured.
