Two men charged with South Tyneside murder

Two men have been charged with the murder of a Gateshead man.   

Paul Joseph Leighton, aged 37, of Springfield Place, Gateshead and John William Knox, aged 29, of Beacon Court, Gateshead have been charged, following the death of Harry Singh. 

20 year old Harry, of Coniston Place, died on his way to hospital after being found in Sheriff's Row on Friday, January 26th. 

Both men will appear at South Tyneside Magistrates tomorrow morning.
