People on Wearside unify for World Cancer Day

Cancer Research UK Group Unity Bands 2

Today marks world cancer day.

Forty people are diagnosed with cancer in the North East every day.

Cancer research has released unity bands in hopes to raise money for the charity.

Lisa Millet, a press officer for Cancer Research, spoke to Sun FM about what the money raised will go towards.
