A high number of school exclusions are in the North East

The schools watchdog is warning eight of the 10 English councils with the worst rate of exclusions are in the North East and Yorkshire.

In Middlesbrough, the rate is 3 times the national average.

Ofsted says it's 'difficult to understand' the differences.

Cathy says there needs to be conversations happening in schools at a local level to discuss how these numbers can be addressed.
