Durham police snow car warning

11:06am 3rd March 2018
(Updated 3:20pm 4th March 2018)

Two Sunderland Roads remain closed and one has been reduced to one lane.

The A19 Southbound has been reduced to one lane following a collision just south of the Hylton Bridge,  it should re-open following recovery.

The A690 Westbound is still closed from the A19 to Houghton cut as is Burdon Lane between Ryhope and Burdon Road.

It's believed the A690 Westbound will still be closed during Monday morning rush hours.

Northumbria Police are advising people to avoid Burdon Lane due to snow drifts.
