UPDATE: Sunderland Road disruption
Two Sunderland Roads remain closed and one has been reduced to one lane.
The A19 Southbound has been reduced to one lane following a collision just south of the Hylton Bridge, it should re-open following recovery.

The A690 Westbound is still closed from the A19 to Houghton cut as is Burdon Lane between Ryhope and Burdon Road.

It's believed the A690 Westbound will still be closed during Monday morning rush hours.

Northumbria Police are advising people to avoid Burdon Lane due to snow drifts.
Burdon Lane in Sunderland is currently closed in both directions due to snow drifts. The local authority are also on scene trying to clear as much as possible in order that the road can be re-opened ASAP.
