Wearside firm gets in gear for National Apprenticeship week

Businesses across the North East are celebrating apprenticeships, while more consider the career pathway.

Wearside-based company Unipres are among those marking National Apprenticeship week.

It aims to show young people the options available, and how beneficial they can be.

Unipres Apprenticeship co-ordinator is Rob Dodds, he tells Sun FM about some.

The theme for the #NAW2018 is ‘Apprenticeships Work’. Showcasing how apprenticeships work:

  • for individuals
  • for employers
  • for the community
  • for the wider economy
