South Shields comic reavels growing up as inspiration

Chris Ramsey 2

10:40am 6th March 2018

South Shields comic Chris Ramsey says his upcoming tour's been inspired by becoming a dad.

The comedian reveals he's had a change of perspective since the birth of his son Robin.

He says his ideas for content came as he had to start writing a will.

The tour, Chris Ramsey Live 2018, starts in May, taking in the Gala Theatre Durham in July and ends at Newcastle in November.

Ramsey came to public attention after starring in former University of Sunderland student Jason Cook's BBC Two sitcom Hebburn.

He's since become a regular on stand up and panel shows, before starring in his own Stand Up Central programme - The Chris Ramsey Show.
