Sunderland team coach takes charge for pre-season

Stadium of Light training

7:27am 19th June 2017
(Updated 7:28am 19th June 2017)

There was another exit from the Stadium of Light over the weekend.

Assistant manager Paul Bracewell left his position, as the search continues to install a new managerial team.

But with Chairman Ellis Short in talks with groups interested in buying the club, it's hampering the ability to employ a new candidate.

Whoever replaces David Moyes, following his resignation after relegation, will be the Black Cats' 9th manager over the last 6 years.

It's believed first team coach Robbie Stockdale, will take charge when the players return to training, if no new manager is in place.
