SAFC caretaker speaks ahead of North East derby

Sunderland head towards their Tees-Wear clash with Middlesbrough under temporary management.

Robbie Stockdale is joined by Billy McKinlay as the caretaker team.

They will take the Black Cats to the Riverside looking to move away from the Championship trap door.

Speaking for the first time since Grayson's departure, Stockdale tells Sun FM that the players are mentally ready for the derby:

He also tells us that the match has come at a perfect time to motivate the players:

The match kicks off at 12:15 on Sunday.
