Time is ticking, and Sunderland have still yet to sign a new manager, despite saying they wanted someone in place for this weekend's home game against Millwall.

A number of names have been linked with the job since the sacking of Simon Grayson, but as yet there's no mention as to who will fill the post.

One of the names linked with the vacant Sunderland job is Northern Ireland manager Michael O'Neill.

But it's understood the Scottish Football Association has made an official approach.

Scotland need a new boss to succeed Gordon Strachan - who left the role after failing to qualify for the World Cup.

However fans can see a signing and get to meet some of the club's players this afternoon.

Three Black Cats will be at the Stadium of Light club store between 5:30 and 7 tonight.

Top goal scorer Lewis Grabban, Lee Cattermole and George Honeyman will be signing autographs, posing for photographs and chatting to fans.
