Sunderland are on their travels down the A19 for this afternoon's Tees-Wear derby in the FA Cup.

The Black Cats are to go into the Riverside clash with a number of key players out through injury.

It's a chance for the 2 Championship neighbours to put league worries and the January transfer market to one side.

Speaking with Sun FM Sunderland boss Chris Coleman tells us he's aiming to bring in players ready to be in the spotlight.

Coleman admits he's quite far down the line with a player, and is being linked with Liverpool's 18 year old Welsh striker Ben Woodburn.

And the club also confirmed leading goal scorer Lewis Grabban has returned to his parent club Bournemouth.

After 12 goals in 20 games for the Black Cats, Bournemouth activated a clause in his loan contract to recall his to Dorset.

Manager Chris Coleman said:

“Throughout my time at the football club I have continually reiterated that I only wish to work with players who want to be here and work hard for Sunderland."

“Lewis informed us of his desire to leave and we wish him well.”
