Sunderland completed a late double swoop on Transfer Deadline Day.

Fans will be waking up to the news that the Black Cats have signed striker Ashley Fletcher from Middlesbrough and goalkeeper Lee Camp from Cardiff.

Both have joined the Wearsiders on loan until the end of the season.

The duo are Chris Coleman's fourth and fifth signings of the January transfer window.

Sunderland next face Ipswich Town at the Stadium of Light on Saturday.

Fletcher, the 6’5” target man, is a product of Manchester United's academy.

The 22-year old has also had spells with Barnsley and West Ham before joining the Teessiders in the Summer.

Speaking about the move, Sunderland manager Chris Coleman said:

β€œAsh has experience at this level and in the Football League. He’s played for big clubs and in big games.

β€œHe’s a physical presence and a handful for defenders. More importantly he wants to come here, progress and fight with us.”

Meanwhile Camp, who's 33, has a wealth of experience with over 400 career appearances.

Speaking about the move for the former Northern Ireland international, Coleman said:

β€œLee is a huge personality who has been there and done it at this level.

β€œHe’s an experienced goalkeeper and has been here before with Rotherham, so knows what it takes to get us results.”
