Former Sunderland star launches his book

Lee Howey ex Sunderland AFC

Sunderland football fans are being invited to a former player's book launch tonight.

Wearside-born Lee Howey was a member of Peter Reid's Black Cats in the 1990's.

From 7:30 at the Peacock in Sunderland City Centre tonight, he's signing copies of his "Massively Violent and Decidedly Average".

Speaking with Sun FM Lee tells us it's over a decade of hard work in the making.
