The Sunderland boss has a mixed bag of injury news to deal with ahead of a trip to Bristol City at the weekend.

Jonny Williams is closer to return from his dislocated shoulder, after playing the full 90 in the Under 23s game at West Ham.

But Chris Coleman now has a lack of saving power, as keeper Robbin Ruiter is expected to be out for up to 12 weeks with a dislocated finger.

New signing Lee Camp was between the sticks in the 2-nil loss to Ipswich, with Jason Steele the gaffer's only other goal keeping option.

Paddy McNair is also nearing a return to first-team action.
