The Black Cats continue their losing streak with a defeat on the road at Bolton.

Sunderland, for the second consecutive match, fell behind within the opening 20 minutes of the game.

Zach Clough's goal on 17 minutes at the Macron Stadium was all that separated the teams at the final whistle.

The loss drops Chris Coleman's side to the bottom of the Championship, it's their 6th defeat in 8 games.

Up next it's a Wear-Tees derby at the Stadium of Light on Saturday, with Middlesbrough coming to Wearside having beat Hull 3-1 at the Riverside last night.
