C-Card Sunderland

ccard campaign

Let’s talk about sex!

Talking about sex can be difficult - no matter who you are or how old you are.

There are lots of places in Sunderland you can go to for help and advice but for some people having a face-to-face conversation isn’t easy.

That’s why we’ve joined forces with Sunderland City Council and South Tyneside Foundation Trust to give you a new way to put your questions to a panel of experts.

We’re guessing that if you’ve got a question, then chances are that others are struggling with a similar issue – so this is a question and answer session with a difference!

Our experts won’t be replying to individual questions directly, but if you have something you’ve always wanted to ask, send it through and our team of school nurses and sexual health providers will group them together into ‘topics’ which will be answered in a series of vlogs to be published in December.

So, whether you’re a parent wondering about the best way to talk to your kids about sex or a young person who wants advice around contraception or sexual health - use the form below and ask the experts.

Just remember, this page is not manned and you won’t get a direct response.  If you need an immediate advice or emergency contraception, please contact one of the services below:
